Trips pays on three-of-a-kind or better but usually carries a much higher house edge than the main game.
Betting pattern
Skip Trips; play Ante, Blind, and Play only. Redirect Trips money to main-game bankroll. $5 Trips × 50 hands = $250 extra exposure.
Bankroll / drawdown risk
Low when Trips is avoided. Side bets inflate variance fast.
