Tiers du Cylindre
How it works
Tiers du Cylindre (“third of the wheel”) covers the 12 numbers on the European wheel opposite the zero sector: 27, 13, 36, 11, 30, 8, 23, 10, 5, 24, 16, and 33. It balances the wheel by targeting the long arc away from zero.
Betting pattern
Usually six split bets: 5/8, 10/11, 13/16, 23/24, 27/30, and 33/36. At $5 per chip, each spin costs about $30.
Bankroll / drawdown risk
Medium. Covers one-third of the wheel cleanly, but 25 numbers remain exposed. At $5 chips: 5 losses ≈ $150; 10 ≈ $300; 20 ≈ $600.
